CPSIA requires CPSC to create a Publicly Available Consumer Product Safety Information Database (Database) within 18 months of CPSC's report to Congress Download PDF file on a detailed plan for operating and maintaining the Database. CPSC submitted the report on September 11, 2009, so the database will launch by March 11, 2011.
