    Incident Description: Flourescent screw in bulb popped and shot a flame from the base it is a n vision bulb EDXO-14 I have seen this before with other bulbs........they really are not safe if you save energy but not lives!!!

    Incident Description: I went to change a CFL bulb and when i touched the bulb it started to work. After i unscrewed it i noticed that it the plastic around the glass coil were melted and burned.

    Incident Description: I turned on my son's lamp and the light bulb popped like the bulb burnt out. A small flame shot out and then suddenly large flames were shooting up through the lampshade as I bent over. The flames extinguished when we unplugged the electrical cord.
