Tonight my 2 year old daughter pushed her feet against the dining room table and tipped her Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair with such force that she hit her head against the door and bent her neck forward, chin against chest as she banged to the ground. We were and are still terrified. The force and angle of incident, could have easily broken her neck. Luckily, she narrowly escaped with only a large bump on her head, bruised vertebrae, and bruises and scratches on her back.

This of course is the first night that we've even thought it possible that she had the power to tip it over. Tonight I checked the Stokke site and we see that extended gliders are now available and that they warn against the possibility of tip over. These gliders should have come with our chair and should be STANDARD! As ours was purchased for us as a gift in 2009, we did not even know that these existed. Given what we and our daughter experienced tonight, I truly believe that these should not be optional.

My trust in Stokke has been shattered. I have written to Stokke to tell them what happened and have asked for a full refund.

Sincerely,
