Consumer stated that after using the mattress for the 1st night she and her spouse started experiencing headaches and sweating profusely, and were restless due to heat emitting from it.

Less than 1 month later, she contacted the store and was advised to purchase new mattress pads to keep the mattress cool, but this did not resolve the problem.

Consumer and her spouse continued to experience health issues with this product, like numbness in hands and feet and shortness of breath. They visited their physician but the illness has not been diagnosed. The physician advised that it could be related to some sort of toxin which had seeped into their bodies.

6/2011 Consumer contacted the retailer again and was advised to return the mattress pad, and they advise to use different sheets. The retailer refuse to give them more information on the chemicals used in the product.

7/7/11 Consumer has removed the mattress from the room to see if this would alleviate their symptoms. Within 2 days they noticed a difference in even the air quality of the bedroom.

Consumer is concerned that this product is a health hazard and feels that it should be reported.
