This date is an estimate
We have a different Goldstar dehumidifier that is not on the list of recalled ones as it was a little bit cheaper model that we got at Wal-Mart. After I heard about the recall we checked it and a few days later my husband went downstairs and said it was overheating and there was a funny burning smell. He unplugged it immediately so nothing happened but I think this one should be recalled also since it started to over heat.
Thanks,

Our process not only rigorously tests to insure the quality of product leaving our factory, but we also carefully monitor how our products perform in use. LG takes very seriously the concerns of our customers and uses such feedback on an on-going basis to evaluate and improve our products.
