Consumer stated after she received the crib that was purchased online, she noticed that it produced an overwhelming chemical odor, which caused a headache and a sensation in her mouth. Consumer stated that with this odor she cannot place her child in the crib. Her mother also got a headache. The fumes were saturated in the cardboard box.

9/26/11 Consumer contacted the manufacturer who advised for her to place the crib under a window for ventillation to get rid of the odor. She was also told that the person in charge was not there and she would be contacted. Contact was done via conference call placed by [REDACTED]- diapers.com associate. Consumer was told to email the complaint to Orbelle@aol.com because they were out of town for a children's furniture store. She still has not received a response. Attached is her email.

Consumer feels that this crib is unsafe and should be investigated. Consumer requested that diapers.com flag this crib when it returns to the warehouse on case CPSC wants to investigate.
