My nephew who is 13months old has gotten his legs caught between crib slats a few different times. His leg has been caught above his knee. His knee itself is preventing his leg coming out of the crib slats. This has happen while he was sleeping and while he was awake. This has happened to one leg and both legs at a time. The only way to get his knee out is to try and twist his leg. His right leg was caught so bad the first time we almost had to break the wood slats to release him. This has caused major bruises.

Thank you for posting your comments. We take these matters very seriously and appreciate consumer feedback. We regret that you have encountered this issue, but it is important to note that this crib has been fully tested by a 3rd-party testing laboratory and meets all regulations, including the requirement for slat spacing. All cribs on the market will have very similar spacing, and as with all cribs that have openings created by slat spacing, there is always a small risk the legs going through the opening.
