last saturday , 5/5/12 my wife was cooking some bean soup and we were few feet away from the stove and pressure cooker. After like 10 mints suddenly steam spread with high velocity and touched my hand and as well as my wifes feet. We were lucky that we were few feet away and the steam became cool and we could safe ourself from being burned. It could also cause fire the stove and fire could spread all over. Thank God nothing happened. I quickly turned off the stove. I was so afraid and told my wife not to use this pressure cooker anymore. She told as this happened first time, never mind. I was also convinced and let it go. But same event occurred again on 5/7/12, when my wife was cooking some chicken soup. This time I was so shocked and frustrated. I told her stop using this product. I feel this product is not at all safe for consumer use. I request authority to start a through investigation on this product and do the needful for consumer safety. I am not going to use this product anymore. I have another company product pressure cooker and being using for more than 5 years and never had this type of incidents.

At the end the pressure cooker caused me unsafe event its model is: CASA Essential Aluminum Pressure Cooker, 5 Qtr.
