I have an Evenflo Highchair exactly like the one in this picture :
My daughter [REDACTED] will be 1 on June [REDACTED] and in the passed two months, she has fallen out of this high chair 2 times. She has gotten bruises on her face inbetween her eyes with a bump, and under her eye making it look like she had a black eye.

Comment from Evenflo Company, Inc. 7/10/2012
The consumer reported to the CPSC that her child fell twice from her Evenflo Convertible High Chair resulting in bruising and a bump. Evenflo attempted to contact the consumer for more information about the alleged incidents but did not obtain any further details. It is unknown whether the child was properly restrained or whether the tray of the high chair was being used at the time of the incidents. The Convertible High Chair is equipped with an internal restraint that meets the retention requirements of the ASTM high chair standard, as verified by an independent third-party laboratory, so it is unlikely that the internal restraint was being used at the time of the alleged falls.

Although Evenflo does not know if this consumer’s issue with the high chair was related to the tray, Convertible High Chairs with model numbers beginning with “2911” were the subject of a recall announced June 5, 2012, for tray detachment issues. Because Evenflo was unable to reach this consumer via telephone, the company sent an approved remedy kit to the address provided in the CPSC report. Evenflo encourages all consumers who own an Evenflo Convertible High Chair with a “2911” model number to contact Evenflo, if they have not done so already, at 1-800-233-5921 or on the web at to register for an approved replacement tray and supplemental instructions.
