Installed 2-LiftMaster Gate Openers and Secondary Entrapment Photo-eye fails to react after Primary Entrapment has been activated.

Manufacturer sent new board and I installed but still same UL325 malfunction on both machines.

This malfunction was tesedt by Manufacturer's tech at their testing area and was to send out their Tech's to our site, that was over a month ago no show.

[REDACTED]

The UL325 required Secondary Entrapment Equipment was designed by the Manufacturer and UL.com to STOP-REVERSE(-minimum-2inches) to RELEASE a Trapped Person and the Photo-eye checks good but boards have bad logic.

Comment from Chamberlain 8/13/2012
Product safety is a top priority for Chamberlain. We promptly investigate each CPSC database incident report. All Chamberlain gate operators meet or exceed all industry standards, including UL325. Chamberlain has conducted extensive testing on this type of operator and cannot duplicate what the customer is stating. Our testing of this style of operator verifies that this operator continues to meet the provisions of Type A/B1/B2 entrapment protection as described in UL325, paragraph 31. Underwriter's Laboratory has also agreed with these test results. We encourage customers to provide additional information about incidents by calling 800-528-5880. Chamberlain takes customer feedback very seriously and uses such information to evaluate and improve our products.
