When we sat down to build this crib, both my husband and I were surprised with how flimsy the entire crib felt. Of course, seeing the JPMA Certified sticker, we were hoping to be able to rely on that. My son has used this crib for about 9 months now (13 month old boy). When we leaned up against the crib always made us nervous, because it didn't feel safe. Well, the other day my husband leaned against the crib to carefully put a sleeping toddler down and the rail snapped. My husband weighs 190 lbs, but that should not be an issue. A crib only used for 9 months shouldn't snap like that. Also, the paint has been chipped along both rails where my son will stand and wait to be picked up. According to the process that the JPMA goes through before certifying this crib. This crib should be sustainable. However, it clear is not. My son is pretty calm in his crib, but I couldn't imagine when he gets older being in this "3 in 1" crib. The crib is not sustainable, certainly not able to fulfill it's promise of "3 in 1", and the finish on the crib is not safe either.
