The consumer stated that when the pilots of the cook top burners are turned off the burners do not have anything to stop the gas from leaking. The consumer stated that the tenants continuously smelled gas.

The consumer believes that when the pilot goes out there were no safety valves to stop the gas from being release from the range.

The consumer stated that no one was injured.

The consumer stated she contacted 2 different appliance companies to service the range. She stated that both technicians informed her that it seemed to be a manufacturing defect and it was a safety hazard.

The consumer stated that she will be contacting the manufacturer to file a report.
