The consumer stated that his 17 months old daughter got her leg stuck in between the slats of her crib several times. The consumer stated that the last incident happened on 10/14/2012. The consumer stated that his daughter was taking a nap and approximately 1 hour later she was screaming. The consumer stated that his older daughter informed him that his daughter’s leg was stuck in between the slats.

He stated that his daughter’s right leg was stuck up to her knee. The consumer stated that he had to get soap and place it on her knee and his wife had to pull the slats to remove the baby’s leg from in between the slats. The consumer stated that the cribs slats are approximately 2” apart from each other.

His daughter suffered bruises on knee. He stated that they treated the bruises by placing ice on the knee. The consumer stated that his daughter’s knee was still swollen, but he was not sure if he would be taking the baby to the hospital.

The consumer stated that he contacted the manufacturer and they informed him that the crib was in compliance with the cribs regulations. The manufacturer referred the consumer to CPSC.
