The consumer says he started cutting grass around the house. After mowing for about 25 minutes, there was a flame underneath the engine. The consumer turned the unit off and flipped the hood off, he took his shirt off and placed underneath the engine to stop the flames. He believes that the gas line broke.

Within a couple of minutes the entire unit was in flames and there were flames up to three feet tall. The flames reached the battery, a couple of minutes later the battery exploded. There was another explosion after that. The only thing left of the tractor is the motor in the flame. There is a large burn spot about 6 ft in diameter in the yard.

The consumer contacted the manufacturer who sent them to different representatives, from one call center to another until they were finally sent to a garage door repair place.

The consumer says they have never had an issue with the unit until now.
