12 month old baby has got his arm caught twice and his knee once in the slats of the crib.
The slats have a 2 1/8 inch gap, I believe the gap is too narrow and should be larger to prevent this type of accident.
Crib Manufacturer is Million Dollar Baby

Comment from MILLION DOLLAR BABY 12/26/2012
We are very sorry to hear about what happened. This consumer did reach out to us in late October when this incident happened. We immediately contacted the consumer to better understand the situation and made suggestions that we thought were appropriate for this case accordingly. The consumer confirmed that the distance between slats was 2 1/8”, which is less than 2 3/8” and compliant with ASTM 1169-11 Standards Consumer Safety Specification for Full-Size Baby Cribs. We then suggested consumer a breathable crib mesh liner or slat bumpers that could reduce the slat spacing to prevent from this happening again (both provided by other manufacturers). We have not heard anything since.
