(01/15/2013) The consumer stated that she was asleep. She heard the baby screaming. She went in the room to get the baby and found that the baby’s left leg was stuck between the crib slats. The consumer stated that her daughter she used liquid soap to get the baby’s leg from between the slat. It took about ten minutes to get the baby’s leg out. The baby’s left leg was bruised but the consumer stated that she is alright.

The consumer measured the space in between the slats. It measures 1 ¾”.

(01/15/2014) The consumer contacted the manufacturer. She was advised that the crib met all federal consumer safety guidelines. She was advised of a product that wraps around the mattress to prevent the incident from happening.
