Amertac Xenon Direct-It Accent Lighting (XPV11HCL) burned out all of the lenses protecting the fixture from the extremely high heat Xenon lamps. Over the past six months or so, each lens fell out because the individual puck lights melted from the high heat.
Amertac would not return my calls even though I left a message on their so called customer help line. They put you on hold forever, so you have no choice but to leave a message.

AmerTac takes customer satisfaction and product safety issues very seriously and investigates all reported incidents. Because the consumer chose not to provide his name we cannot review our records to determine when the consumer called and what message he left. We are also unable to contact the consumer to get more information on the installation or have the product returned for examination. If the product is installed following the safety precautions described in the product instructions, including adequate spacing for proper ventilation, the product will operate safely. If the installation does not follow all listed safety precautions, the product could overheat. The operating/installation instructions present the specific precautions that must be followed to ensure the product does not overheat and operates safely. Unfortunately, not being able to contact the consumer or examine the product, we have no way of knowing if the product was installed according to the included instructions observing all safety precautions. If the consumer reaches out to us again, we will ask that he return the product for examination, discuss the specific installation steps he followed, and review the specifics of the incident. We encourage consumers to contact us regarding all issues so we may continue to provide quality products. Consumers may contact us directly at www.amertac.com or call us at 1-610-336-1330, Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM East Cost Time and on Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM, East Coast Time.
