The consumer would like to file a report on her unit, which she feels poses a fire hazard.

On 11/23/14 the consumer was in the kitchen washing dishes when she noticed that the unit turned on spontaneously. The unit began to run as if it was set to heat up an item. The consumer did not notice what was displayed on the control panel. The consumer was shocked that the unit turned on by itself and about 30 - 40 seconds later she pressed the clear button on the unit. The unit turned off but after 1 minute the unit began to beep very loud. The consumer noticed the control panel displayed an error about the circuit board but she does not remember what exactly was on the control panel. The consumer pressed the clear button to stop the beeping noise. The unit would stop beeping for about 1 minute and then begin beeping. The consumer would press the clear button again and this repeated 3 times.

The consumer unplugged the unit and waited for one minute. Then the consumer would plug the unit back in and the unit would immediately begin beeping. This repeated for about 3 times. The consumer has unplugged the unit and it has remained unplugged.

The consumer uses the unit at least once a day.

The consumer has not contacted the firm but plans to after filing this report.
