(07/27/2015) The consumer was blending leaves in the blender. She turned the blender off to taste the mixture. She took a taste with a spoon but got distracted and left the spoon in the blender. The consumer turned the blender back on and immediately the glass blender shattered.

The consumer went down to get someone to take pictures of the blender and noticed that the spoon was mixed with the mixture and the broken glass.

The consumer thinks that the metal blades came in contact with the spoon.

The consumer stated that there was a tiny sliver of glass in her neck. No medical attention was required.

The consumer stated that there is no safety feature shut off on the unit.

Also, the recipe section on page 22 and page 2 of the brochure given conflicting information about adding ice.
