I was using my Revlon Ceramic tourmaline ionic hair dryer 1875W on 8/20/2015. It suddenly stopped working so I first checked the outlet. After I ruled that out I examined the cord and saw that it had a small slit in it where it went into the dryer. I tried it again and noticed a small spark coming from the area. I tried taping the area with electrical tape but that worked for only 1 day. The dryer is unusable and probably not more that a year old. The model # is RVDR5141, type RD5141BS, 125 VAC, 60 Hz
