My daughters were in the bunk bed when one of the supporting rails that holds up the matress gave way landing on top of my 6 year old. She was not hurt but, severely shaken up. It was a terrible experience for her. My 9 year old sustained a large cut on the back of her leg that was about 5 inches long more than likely from one of the protruding screws and collapse of the bunkie boards. I purchased this bunkbed set in June of 2008 from a large furniture retailer. Deer Run #625-076

We are sorry to learn of this incident. After the consumer contacted the company, we shipped replacement rails and made arrangements with the consumer’s retailer to install them for her.
