I am a fire investigator for the State of Maine Fire Marshal's Office. On 04/12 I investigated a fire involving a 4-burner Master Forge (Lowes) gas grill. The investigation revealed that the grill had blown over in a heavy wind storm. When this particular grill falls on its control knob side, the knobs and electric igniter are in contact with the ground at the same time. This grill fell over on concrete with the tank valve still on. The grill slid across the concrete in the wind causing all four knobs to turn on as the igniter was firing. This caused ignition of the LP gas. Luckily the grill was lying on the concrete patio and the fire did not spread to an adjacent structure. I just wanted to make you aware of this as I was able to duplicate the event my first try.
