I have been reading about the recall on Delta Cribs. I on the other hand think there should be a way to lower the side of the crib safely or have it bend down in half or something. I was putting my 9 month old grandson back to bed, he was asleep, and when I tried to lower him into the crib, I pulled a muscle in my stomach area. I am only 5' 2" and the side of the crib is tall. I get up with him on the weekends and this is a problem for me. They had to lower the mattress because he is pulling himself up and they do not want him to fall out. I do want it to be completely safe for the baby, but there must be a better way. I always used the cribs for my children with the side that lowered down.
