This report is in regards to Sunbeam's Slumber Rest Luxury Collection Premium Quilted Heated Mattress ordered purchased new on 12/6/2017. On approximately 12/20/2017 I attempted to use a low setting for sleep. Prior to this I had only used it to preheat my bed, turning it off before getting into bed. When I settled in bed, I felt an add sensation on my right thigh...a very painful tingling sensation. My first thought was that I needed simply to move, that I must be positioned awkwardly. I shifted position and felt the same painful shock, which is what I realized was occurring. I immediately turned it off and unplugged the mattress pad. For several days after these shocks my leg was very weak and painful when walking. I was shocked twice by this defective product, and this company has been less than helpful resolving the issue. In fact, I have been lied to numerous times by three of their representatives. I would like my money back, but believe they would be more resistant to that request than a replacement.

I have contacted the manufacturer three times with no resolution. They have repeatedly claimed to have sent return labels to my email, as well as a replacement product. None of this is true.

Based on the information provided, Sunbeam does not believe that the specific product concerns identified in CPSC Report #20180110-B322B-2147393821, contains any defect that presents a substantial product hazard or unreasonable risk of serious injury or death.
