Comment from La-Z-Boy Incorporated 9/10/2018
We are sorry that this consumer was not satisfied with the warranty service on his La-Z-Boy recliner, but we have no reason to believe this product was defective. We understand that the customer took his recliner to our dealer’s warehouse, and the dealer’s technician determined that the seat frame was broken. The dealer ordered a new seat frame, which La-Z-Boy supplied free of charge. For most items, La-Z-Boy provides labor free of charge during the first year following purchase. The consumer’s recliner was more than a year old, and the dealer informed him that there would be a labor charge to replace the seat frame.
