Emery 4-in-1 convertible crib - 7380-026
Last night I awoke to the sound of my 14 month old screaming suddenly, and found that his leg was wedged between two bars of his delta emery 4-in-1 convertible crib above the knee, at the level of his thigh. We were unable to maneuver him in such a way as to free his leg, and had to break one of the two bars that had trapped him. He suffered pain and bruising as his leg was significantly compressed between the two bars. He stopped screaming immediately once we broke the bars. I want to add that we were using the crib to specifications. He was sleeping with an appropriate mattress and a fitted sheet and the mattress was lowered to its lowest position. He does not and has never had crib bumpers as I am very strict on safe sleep.

Please be aware that our crib slats adhere to the mandated federal requirements which established the slat dimensions and spacing in order to avoid head entrapment.
