This item is a Wolfgang Puck Pressure/Toaster Oven. It has an “On/Off” Timer knob cook function, a light while cooking and a ticking sound during cooking. Normally when cooking is complete a bell will sound. At some point a while back unnoticed at first by me, the bell signal stopped functioning and later at times the Timer would not stop ticking. Gradually, the oven has become difficult to turn off. To clarify, when turning knob to off position, timer remains on and/or oven remains on. I’ve also discovered the slightest movement or vibration of oven causes the On/Off Timer knob switch on.
Also, if using auto turn off function, oven may shut off, timer stays on then goes to “Stay On” position which turns the oven back on. I tried it today. I turned it oven off. No light was on. I returned about 20 minutes later to a very warm 350 degree lighted oven. This is a hazard in my opinion.
Even when the timer continues to tick for an undetermined period of time.
I attempted to contact W.P. Appliances to report this issue. The person I spoke with said there were no complaints of this type although she never asked my info, model number or any product details. I don’t understand how you can know if there are no complaints without product information.
The only remedy I have is to unplug and discontinue use and report this issue.

I called to explain issue. The lady I spoke with did not take any product info or my info and was stated nothing could be done because item is out of warranty. It did not matter that this seemed to be a cause for safety concern.
