Report Summary

Consumer reports that when the water slide was blown up from storage after a season of use, it was not as sturdy. It started to sway when a child got on top of it and almost fell over. Later it got so bad that it imploded somewhat slowly on itself trapping a 7-YO girl inside.

Incident Description: We recently had a scary incident with a Banzai Falls Wall Park that was purchased at Toys R Us in August/Sept 2011. We blew up the waterslide for the first time this summer but it was not as sturdy as last year. It is under one year old and was stored properly during the offseason. When one child got on the top of the slide, it started to sway and was not sturdy. It almost fell over. This happened multiple times with one child under 60 pounds on the top of the slide. Later it got so bad that the slide imploded somewhat slowly on itself trapping a child inside. Nobody was hurt but this could have been very dangerous as it is possible to get smothered under the plastic and water.
