Incident Description: Exploding oven glass Maytag Gemini Gas Double Oven Range Model #MGT8655XW00 Serial # D04042021 Outer oven glass of large oven exploded out into the kitchen. Oven was not in use at the time. I contacted Maytag, but they were totally disinterested and didn't even respond to my emails. It's being reported now as I thought at the time it was possibly a unique circumstance. In looking online now I see the incidents have skyrocketed, yet nothing has been done. Whether design or quality, a fix should be mandated from all manufacturers and recalls implemented. Had a child (and there are children present) been walking by when this happened, it would have been exactly even with their face. I can't comprehend this being ignored when the problem is so widespread and across all manufacturers.
