Incident Details
- Incident Description: The indoor/outdoor Security Camera was bolted to my 2nd floor porch. In late August 2016, I noticed it had stopped working. A friend of the family (a city firefighter) climbed a ladder to see why it was not working. He found that the cord leading from the camera was burnt. He told me had the cord been closer to the house we would have had a fire. This camera was part of a set of 4 with a monitor. I have replaced this camera at a cost of $199.95. Can only hope none of the other cameras catch on fire.
