Report Summary

Consumer swaddled 5 MOM using infant swaddler/baby wrap. Consumer's husband heard baby moving furiously in bassinet & he found son with arm flaps up around his neck, still secured by fastener, strangling him. He was able to get baby out to prevent injury.

Incident Description: I swaddled my son using the SwaddleMe LoveSack Level 3. My husband heard my son moving furiously in his bassinet and checked on him. He found our son with the arm flaps up around his neck, still secured by the Velcro, strangling him. Fortunately, he was able to get him out in time to prevent injury. Had he not been in a bassinet at our bedside with my husband in the room, my baby would have been severely injured or killed. This product needs to be recalled.
