Incident Description: On July 3, 2017, [REDACTED] was at a relative's house celebrating the 4th of July. There was an above ground pool and ladder designed and manufactured by Intex Recreation Corp. [REDACTED] used the ladder to gain access to the pool. While climbing the ladder, it began to give way, causing him to fall head first into the pool. [REDACTED] struck his head on the bottom of the pool. He sustained permanent injuries, including complete paralysis from the neck down.
