- Incident Description: I received the InstantPot Vortex Plus 10 QT air fryer oven as a gift for Christmas. I used it twice and as I was cleaning the inside of the oven around the top edge my finger ran across a very sharp metal ridge that sliced my finger open. This happened on the 29th of December 2019 and I had to go to the urgent care and received 5 stitches in my right hand index finger. After posting on several Facebook Vortex Plus pages it appears that there have been many injuries from cleaning the inside of this oven. I think this is a dangerous design flaw and not just a defect in my machine.
