While 46 YOM was riding bicycle on the uphill, he crashed on the rear bumper of a parked vehicle with his front wheel. The frame of bicycle was crushed and bent. His left 5th finger had a laceration, which required six sutures.

  • Incident Description: I had crushed into a parked vehicle while I was riding a specialized bicycle on July 2, 2020. I was riding a bicycle on the uphill and late for detouring/avoiding the parked vehicle and crashed on the rear bumper of the vehicle with my front wheel. All of my bicycle parts were not broken except the frame that was crushed and bent. My injury was left 5th finger, which was a laceration required 6 sutures. I took my bicycle to the local bicycle shop that I purchased this year March. The shop contacted the Specialized for the warranty service and compensation but The Specialized offered only "discount on a new frame".
