  • Incident Description: Knightdale Fire Department Narrative: Knightdale's Fire Chief arrived on scene to find a hoverboard full involved in the front yard. Engine [REDACTED] arrived and extinguished same with a water can extinguisher. The homeowner stated that the Hoverboard was charging and had began smoking. She unplugged the hoverboard and took it outside. The hoverboard then began to free burn. Wake County Fire Marshalls Office was notified in reference to same but no response was required.
