  • Incident Description: I was injured when I rode my new electric bike because the front brake was on the right handle bar so when I hit the break as I generally do the bike flipped over back tire over front tire and was injured when my face slammed on the street. I understand federal regulations and state that bicycles have the front brake on the left side and the rear brake on the right side which all the previous bikes I’ve ever had do.
