Incident Details
- Incident Description: I am writing to report the Zoe Traveler Stroller. This is our second Zoe stroller we received at a discount (open box) due to an unrepareable issue with our first Zoe stroller (The Trip). The first time we unpacked the stroller, our daughter (just over 2 years old) climbed in and the stroller tipped over backwards. Luckily I was standing behind the stroller and was able to grab the handle right as it hit the ground, keeping my daughter from hitting her head on the ground. Right away my wife and I looked at each other and realized this stroller is not safe. Our daughter climbs in and out of our[REDACTED] stroller all the time without issue, but that is a much more sturdy stroller. My wife and I don't feel like we can use this stroller because it is unsafe. I have thought about trying to sell it on eBay but I don't want to sell someone else an unsafe stroller. This stroller is rated for children up to 45 lbs and our daughter is about 25 lbs. We wanted a light stroller for traveling but the design of this stroller makes it unsafe. It needs to have the back wheels extended more to give the stroller a better base against leverage of a child in the stroller. It's honestly been a bit of a hassle dealing with the Zoe company and I have not contacted them about this issue. I spent too much time trying to get a faulty part replaced only to end up paying for another stroller and at this point want to cut my losses with it. I'm more than happy to ship you the stroller for testing if need be.
