Report Summary

Trampoline frame broke while 10 YOF was jumping on it. Welds holding circular frame onto legs broke in two places. Frame tubing bent at joints, shearing apart. It tore safety mat where sharp broken tubing punctured through it. 10 YOF & 13 YOM were reported involved.

  • Incident Description: I ordered a 15' Upper Bounce trampoline in March 2021. On May 15, the frame broke while a 10-year old child was jumping on it. The welds holding the circular frame onto the legs broke in two places, and the frame tubing bent at the joints, shearing apart. This also tore the safety mat where the sharp broken tubing punctured through it. We were extremely fortunate that my children were not injured by this product's failure. The failed welds clearly indicate a defect in the manufacturing process that could cause serious injury.
