Report Summary

Consumer's 1 MO baby rolled every time while being in bassinet. It was found that pocket at the side creates an imbalance, causing rolls. Even when pocket is empty, it creates imbalance. Pocket itself is too heavy. Baby was not injured.

Incident Description: We purchased the Ingenuity Dream & Grow Bedside Bassinet for our newborn who is currently 1 month old. Whenever my husband and I place our newborn in the bassinet, he would roll on his side. After examining the bassinet, we discovered that due to the storage pockets on one side, it creates an imbalance. The storage pockets weigh down one side of the bassinet and therefore encourages side sleeping for newborns. We remove everything from the storage pockets and again, the newborn rolled on his side. The storage pocket itself is too heavy and makes the bassinet and creates an unevenness. No injuries occurred.
