33 YOF consumer purchased a mattress which had machine washable cover. Shortly after her family had coughs, chest and lung pain, bloody noses and breathing difficulties. It was found fiberglass was all over the house. Tag of cover did not say ingredients. Doctors were seen.

Incident Description: In the beginning of 2022 we purchased a mattress from NECTAR that stated we could machine was the unzippable cover. Shortly after doing so our family started experiencing health issues, such as bloody noses, coughs, chest and lung pain and breathing difficuluties. These have also been medically documented over the course of the year and for the last 40 days we have been displaced from our home. Through extensive video evidence our home and car insurance accepted our claims due to fiberglass contamination. Not only did it state we could wash it, it did not list the ingredients on the tag. We have lost about 80 percent of our belongings and the cost is in the tens of thousands. My son whom I breastfed in bed, consistently had irritation and rashes, eyes and started coughing. By the time that we discovered this every foot of our home was covered.
