  • Incident Description: RE: Solar LED Security Light Model FSI 80-835 I purchased two of the above referenced solar LED lights from WalMart. After following the instructions to charge the batteries for three days, I placed the lights in a sunny spot in my yard. On the third day, I noticed one of the lights actually caught on fire and burned to a crisp. (See photos). The other light was unaffected. I was going to attach these lights to trees overlooking my garden in hopes that the motion sensor lights would repel deer, possum, and rabbits who would feed on my garden at night. I'm reluctant to use your solar lights in fear I could be causing a massive forest fire wiping out many acres of timber on my land and also my adjoining neighbor's properties. I feel that your lights are defective and should be recalled. I am also reporting this product to the Consumer Product Safety Commission in hopes that these lights are removed from the market to prevent fire damage (or death) to other purchaser's properties.
