  • Incident Description: Fiberglass contamination from unzipping a Bob O pedic memory foam mattress to check for moisture. No warning label indicating not to unzip the cover. Hard to breathe, entire room contaminated with fiberglass..now replacing all soft surfaces. The fibers are almost impossible to get rid of, making breathing uncomfortable and difficult. Concerned about long-term effects on health as well as expenses incurred to replace the mattress, bed linens, carpet clothing, and purchase of a room purifier.
