Incident Details

Incident Description: My Frigidaire oven's exterior door glass exploded without reason. I was standing in front of it at the time but fortunately only hads a few knicks from the glass. The oven was purchased from Lowe's Home Improvement December 2019. Upon contacting Frigidaire, I was told my oven was not under warranty. According to a [REDACTED] search there have been 900 reports since 2018 to [REDACTED] and Frigidaire is aware of the problem yet they have not warned customers that this could happen nor have they issued a recall. Frigidaire offered to send a repair tech to assess the situation to which I would have to pay for the service and the glass plus repair cost. After a heated discussion with an associate and then a supervisor via 60 minute a phone call , I am told a replacement glass will be delivered and will be replaced at no charge.
