Baby monitor & camera caught fire overnight while charging on nightstand. Flames were extinguished, but 36 YOF suffered burns to arm & leg & received 1st aid. Incident caused major property damage & left strong chemical smell in room.

  • Incident Description: Our eufy Security by Anker Spaceview Pro Baby Monitor and Camera caught fire overnight on my nightstand, with about 3 ft flames coming off of it. It was charging at time of fire. Fortunately, we were able to extinguish the fire quickly before it spread further, but I did sustain several burns to my arm and leg while doing so, and the incident caused significant property damage. Following the fire, there was a strong chemical odor in the room, which we immediately vacated.
