Incident Description: I purchased the Simplicity 4-in-1 Ellis crib, Model # 8676C, manufacturer code 4707 TC, back in 2008. I have used it for all three of my children, still using for my youngest, and just found out it had been recalled in 2010. I never received any information or saw any information posted anywhere for the recall and only found out about it after searching the web for a place to file a complaint. Three days ago my youngest (14 months) had his leg stuck between the slats of the crib and it took my husband and I almost breaking one of the slats to get him free. I am at a loss on what to do about the situation since the company is out of business and the recall took place two years ago. Can I still return the product to the place of purchase for a replacement or refund without a receipt and it being so long since the recall? Any information would greatly helpful and appreciated.
