Report Summary

All 4 of candle wicks were lit & they burned for approximately 10 - 15 min, when flame arose to approximately 6" high. Consumer placed kitchen lid over candle to extinguish flame. She has used candle over past 3 - 4 years... This was 1st time she experienced incident with it.

  • Incident Description: The consumer has used the candle over the past 3 - 4 years.. The candle is approximately 8" in diameter. She generally used the candle for approximately 1 hour at a time. All 4 of the candle wicks were lit and they burned for approximately 10 - 15 minutes, when the flame arose to approximately 6" high. The consumer went and picked up a kitchen lid and placed it over the candle to extinguish the flame. There was no property damage. The consumer estimates that the candle cost $300.00. This is the first time she experienced any incident with it.
