  • Incident Description: I bought Flex Power tool kit (drill and impact driver with two batteries) from Lowes two years ago. Flex has a lifetime warranty for their tools - was highly recommended over other power tools. Since then, Lowes no longer carrier this brand. One of my batteries started oozing black liquid. I've reported that to Flex in August 2025. They issued me a return that never got to me (replacement battery). I've reported again in October 2025 that I never got replacement battery, they promise that they will send another one, but never did. Looks like this company has issues with Lithium batteries that pose significant risk and they are giving a run around to customers who bought their product. This product unsafe. I have second battery and afraid to keep it in the house do to chemical release and fire hazard. Flex is unwilling to deal with this issue. Please investigate them.
