Incident Description:
I got a crib for a baby shower gift and i was using it til my daughter started getting stuck in the rungs and the mattress falling down through the supports... And now i see its been recalled... Its a simplicity drop side crib. And there has been a few deaths reported in my area in the last few years. I would like something done with this recalled crib..i do not want it and i dont want anything happening to my daughter either....

I put my son in the bedroom to sleep for the night in the bassinet he has used since birth. It is a simplicity 3-in-1. The bar which collapses to convert to a co-sleeper has given us problems the entire time. It doesn't seem long enough to be secure when used as a regular bassinet. I heard my son crying several minutes later, went into the room and felt into the bassinet to pick him up and he wasn't there! I screamed, turned on the light and there he was, on the floor and the bar I spoke of...

My son, 3.5 years old, got his arm stuck in the Simplicity Convertible Crib (Ellis) and nearly broke it. He had fallen off and his arm slipped through the slab openings, thus twisting his arm as he fell of the bed.

My daughter was sleeping in a Simplicity Ellis 4-in-1 crib. I was unaware of the recall. The crib contains the metal tubular bars. My daughter became stuck inbetween the mattress support and the railing of the crib.
